Ptah, the god of creation, craftsmanship, and divine architecture, is often depicted as a mummified figure holding a scepter formed from the ankh, the djed pillar, and the was scepter, representing life, stability, and power. As one of the primordial deities of Kemet, Ptah is the divine craftsman who shaped the universe through the power of thought and word. His creative energy is deeply tied to the act of manifestation; it is said that Ptah conceived the world in his heart and brought it into being through speech. Revered as the patron of artisans, builders, and healers, Ptah’s influence is vast, guiding both the physical and spiritual realms. He is often associated with the city of Memphis, the center of his worship, where he was believed to reside as the god who ordered the cosmos and ensured its continued stability.

Ptah is one of the primordial deities of Kemet, often considered the creator god and the father of the gods. He is said to have been self-created from the waters of chaos, Nun, and through his heart and speech, he brought forth all creation. Ptah is the husband of the goddess Sekhmet and the father of Nefertum, both powerful deities in their own right.
